What began as a Youtube webseries shot in Lu Louis and Byrne Owens’ Hollywood apartment is now a community of passionate filmmakers, performers, writers, and creatives who strive to make quality content across all digital platforms. Whether it’s through short films, sketches, TV pilot concepts, podcasts, or even just dank memes, “My Roommate the…?” is now a brand that resonates with a cultural need to laugh at relatable truths. With 10+ years and counting, the MRT crew’s latest episode “My Roommate the Jedi” is due to premiere May the 4th of 2021, which will not only blow the minds of existing subscribers and followers, but set a new bar for what it means to deliver entertaining, scripted content on social media.
